Join FMC³ Robotics

At the Forefront of Robotics!

At FMC³, a fast-growing robotics startup, you'll work hands-on with cutting-edge Al andreal robot systems. You will contribute directly to the software powering next-generationrobot brains. If you're curious, practical, and driven to build technology that truly worksin the real world, this is your chance to learn fast and make a tangible impact from day.

Join FMC³ and help shape the future of humanoid robotics.

Open Positions

  • Robotics Software / AI Engineer
    Full time
We are looking for highly skilled software engineers with a strong background in Robotics algorithms, both classical (kinematics, calibration, Kalman or particle filters) and AI (LLMs / Transformer networks, VLA models) who are willing to dive in deeply and quickly. Since our robots will be used in industrial and at some point home environments, safety-oriented thinking is important (“what could go wrong” and “how is this useful” instead of “what is the fastest way to a flashy demo”)
  • Robotics Software / AI Engineer (Junior / Master Thesis)
    Full time
    The Role
We are looking for highly skilled, deeply curious Robotics Software / AI Engineers to join our dynamic team. Whether you are a recent graduate ready for a full-time challenge, or a talented Master's student looking for a Master Thesis, we want to hear from you. You will not just be writing scripts for flashy, one-off demos. You will be building robust, safety-critical systems that work reliably in the real world. You will dive deeply and quickly into complex problems at the intersection of classical robotics and modern machine learning.

    What You Will Do
Algorithm Development: Design and implement robust robotics algorithms integrating both classical methods (kinematics, calibration) and state-of-the-art AI.
Embodied AI: Work hands-on with large-scale models (LLMs, Vision-Language-Action /VLA models) and deploy them on physical humanoid hardware.
Safety-Critical Engineering: Apply a safety-first mindset to software design. You will constantly ask "what could go wrong?" and "how is this genuinely useful in an industrial setting?"
System Integration: Bridge the gap between AI perception pipelines and real-time motion planning/control frameworks (e.g., ROS2).

    Your Profile
Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Informatics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field at a top-tier university.
Technical Foundations: Strong theoretical and practical understanding of classical robotics (kinematics, dynamics, state estimation) AND/OR modern deep learning architectures (Transformers, LLMs).
Programming Skills: Proficiency in modern C++ and Python.
Hands-on Mindset: Willingness to dive deep into hardware-software integration. Experience with ROS2, real-time operating systems or physics simulators is a strong plus.
Problem Solver: You prefer robust, industrial-grade solutions over fragile, "fastest way to a demo" hacks.
Language: Professional working proficiency in English and German.
